Now hiring Welders and Fabricators in New Castle, PA Pay: $25-28/hr based on experience Shift: 7am-3:30pm M-F
Responsibilities

• Layout, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Determine required equipment, welding method, and welding techniques.
• Develop templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
• Ignite torch and adjust valves, amperage, or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
• Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies.
• Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
• Remove rough spots from pieces using portable grinder.
• Inspect grooves, angles or gap allowances using micrometer, caliper and precision measuring instruments.
• Follow blueprints to arrange pieces and temporarily fix them into position before welding.
• Make recommendations for process improvements.
• Perform equipment inspections prior to use, and report any malfunctions or safety concern.
• Work accordingly to meet Safety and Quality goals.
• Work with team and balance workload to meet On Time Delivery goals.
• Manage company resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Work on additional equipment or tasks outside the job description as directed.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced welding equipment and tools. The role involves varying shifts in a facility committed to safety and quality standards. Dress code ensures safety and adherence to industry regulations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
