Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance activities within the facility, ranging from production equipment to facility needs. Candidates must be open to performing a variety of tasks, including facilities work and sanitation, alongside regular maintenance duties. We seek reliable individuals with a strong cultural and long-term fit who will consistently show up every day. Electrical maintenance experience and proven experience in troubleshooting electrical systems in a maintenance role are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on all production equipment and facility needs.
• Assist with facilities work and sanitation tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including conveyors, electric motors, and VFDs.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and documentation for machinery troubleshooting.
• Ensure reliable and consistent presence on scheduled work days.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot 480V electrical systems and perform necessary repairs.
• Understanding of electrical schematics, 3-phase wiring, servo motors, and pneumatic systems.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with heavy mechanical repairs and overhauls of systems such as gearboxes and hydraulic pumps is advantageous but not required.
• Experience in a GMP/Food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a food manufacturing environment adhering to GMP standards. The production area is maintained at 38°F, while the maintenance shop is at 60°F. The position involves working a 5-day week with two off days, not necessarily following a traditional Monday to Friday schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, PA.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $60320.00/yr.

Full medical, vision, dental, and 401K

This is a fully onsite position in Hanover,PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Jan 21, 2026.
