Founded in 1986, Slaymaker Electric Motor & Supply is a family-owned, faith-based company that provides reliable electrical and mechanical services to clients across the agricultural, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors. From repairing motors and pumps to upgrading automation systems, we're known for dependable service and lasting solutions. What you'll do as an Office Administrator:

  • Manage accounts receivable, including tracking balances and following up on overdue invoices.
  • Prepare & review customer invoices for accuracy before final submission.
  • Greet visitors, answer phones, and assist customers with professionalism and warmth.
  • Support the sales and service teams by coordinating job details, orders, and billing information.
  • Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure accurate job costing and recordkeeping.
  • Deposit checks, verify banking reports, and reconcile daily cash and credit transactions.
  • Run monthly sales tax reports.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Assist managers with administrative projects and cross-departmental coordination.

Our Ideal Office Administrator:

  • Experienced: Brings at least three years of experience in office administration, bookkeeping, or accounting, with a strong understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable/payable.
  • Organized & Detail-oriented: Keeps records accurate, tasks prioritized, and deadlines on track — even on the busiest days.
  • Professional & Personable: Communicates clearly and courteously with customers, vendors, and team members alike.
  • Dependable & Accountable: Follows through on commitments, maintains confidentiality, and supports the team with integrity.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using accounting and office software such as EBMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physically Capable: Able to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
