Accounting Associate

The Opportunity

Our client is a technology-driven manufacturer whose advanced detection products are used across multiple markets, including medical imaging. Their work directly contributes to earlier and more accurate detection of serious illnesses, helping create safer and healthier outcomes.

They are seeking an Accounting Associate to support the Financial Controller with daily accounting operations. This is a hands-on role well-suited for someone who enjoys responsibility, accuracy, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.

This is a fully onsite position, five days per week .

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage all aspects of the cash account, including compiling and analyzing daily cash activity

• Process customer receipts via ACH/FT and check payments; assist with customer collections as needed

• Review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including bank activity, A/P and A/R aging, and balance sheet detail

• Ensure accuracy of reports and timely vendor payments

• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions

• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing and posting journal entries

• Multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience preferred

• 2+ years of general accounting experience (required)

• Working knowledge of general ledger maintenance

• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)

• Ability to learn new accounting software systems quickly

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the Financial Controller

• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
