Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in MIG welding, primarily focusing on aluminum. The role involves prepping parts for welding assembly according to drawings and prints, tack welding parts, and performing in-process inspections to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications using proper tools.

Shift and Pay

Mon-Thurs 5:00AM to 3:00PM

Starting rate - $19.73/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding primarily on aluminum.
• Prep parts for welding assembly per drawings and prints.
• Tack weld parts according to drawings and prints.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Utilize basic measuring tools, including tape measure, protractor, and calipers.
• Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications using proper tooling.
• Complete all in-process paperwork and documentation accurately.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in layout of parts from blueprints prior to welding.
• Skillful use of basic measuring tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding.
• Technical school education in welding.
• Fabrication experience, particularly with aluminum welding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.73 - $19.73/hr.
