Responsible for supporting customer-facing cybersecurity and product assurance activities across the sales, implementation, and operational lifecycle. This role serves as a key partner to sales, legal, product, engineering, quality, and other subject matter experts to help address customer cybersecurity inquiries, support contractual and compliance-related requirements, and communicate product cybersecurity capabilities clearly and consistently.

This position also helps improve commercial effectiveness and operational stability by reducing friction in customer-facing cybersecurity interactions, promoting more consistent and scalable support models, and strengthening cybersecurity as a practical business enabler and commercial differentiator.

This is a remote-based opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer-facing cybersecurity activities, including security questionnaires, due diligence requests, follow-up discussions, and related assurance needs.
  • Analyze customer cybersecurity requirements and coordinate with internal subject matter experts to develop accurate, risk-based, and consistent responses.
  • Assess and communicate product cybersecurity capabilities, controls, and relevant documentation in support of customer and commercial discussions.
  • Partner closely with sales, legal, product, R&D, quality, compliance, and other internal teams on cybersecurity-related customer commitments, questions, and escalations.
  • Support the sales organization by helping translate cybersecurity capabilities into clear, customer-relevant value propositions and responses.
  • Partner with commercial teams to identify recurring cybersecurity-related barriers in the sales process and help develop scalable approaches to reduce friction.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of sales enablement materials, standard messaging, reusable response content, and customer-facing cybersecurity support resources.
  • Help identify, standardize, and improve repeatable customer-facing cybersecurity content, response libraries, and supporting documentation to improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Review and interpret vulnerability, architecture, and security control information as needed to support customer communications, internal alignment, and risk-based decision-making.
  • Track recurring customer concerns, response themes, and support gaps to inform process improvement, strategic priorities, and better field support.
  • Help improve operational consistency by identifying common response patterns, standardizing outputs, and reducing dependency on ad hoc or individual-driven support models.
  • Contribute to the development of more stable, repeatable workflows for customer cybersecurity support, including intake, response coordination, knowledge management, and escalation pathways.
  • Support cybersecurity-related analysis and input for customer planning, asset planning, and other business support activities, as applicable.
  • Help ensure cybersecurity communications to customers are clear, supportable, and aligned with contractual, legal, and business expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that make cybersecurity support more scalable, efficient, and commercially effective.

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including networking, encryption, vulnerability management, identity and access concepts, segmentation, and common security architectures.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical cybersecurity concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including customers.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and common assessment approaches, including familiarity with concepts such as CVSS, OWASP, and risk-based prioritization.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer requirements, security controls, product cybersecurity information, and business risk considerations.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, engineering, product, quality, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, or supporting customer-facing cybersecurity documentation, standard responses, or assurance materials.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and scale in customer-facing cybersecurity support workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce polished, accurate, and customer-ready content.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

What You Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • Ability to quickly learn complex medical device configurations, software solutions, and product lines.
  • Strong customer orientation and comfort engaging in customer-facing cybersecurity discussions.
  • Ability to balance security rigor with business practicality, commercial responsiveness, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to help the business move faster through clear, consistent, and supportable cybersecurity communication.
  • Sound judgment in identifying when issues require escalation or deeper subject matter expert engagement.
  • Willingness to work across a broad range of technologies and continuously learn new software and hardware environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build trust across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Travel expectations: 15%

Background and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, product security, customer assurance, technical risk, or a related field.
