BI-VOCATIONAL PASTOR
Bethlehem Baptist Church located in Springfield, Kentucky is seeking a BI vocational pastor. Our church on the hill has been here for over 200 years. We are proud of our heritage and looking forward to meeting the man God has chosen to lead our church. We are considered to have a blended church service. We believe in God’s Word and that it is God’s Word.
Bethlehem Baptist Church is in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000. We are a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, Kentucky Baptist Convention, and Central Baptist Association. We do not adhere to Calvinist doctrine.
Our Mission Statement is: That we would believe together in all things for His glory. We at Bethlehem Baptist Church commit ourselves to grow in grace and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ, so that we may show the love that God has shown us. That we will go and make disciples of all people, baptizing and teaching them to follow all God has commanded.
Responsibilities of our pastor include, but are not limited to:
- Preach the Word of God
- Lead Sunday morning service, Wednesday night prayer meeting, (Sunday night, optional)
- Be available to perform wedding ceremonies and conduct funerals
- Prepare and deliver sermons
- Regularly visit church members (including hospitalized, homebound, nursing home, assisted living, etc.) and prospects
