Based in: Reading, PA

Shift: Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM after initial training

Compensation: $26.25 – $36.05 per hour

Your Impact

• Own repairs and maintenance for production and facility systems to keep the plant running smoothly.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues on critical components—bearings, gearboxes, pumps, chain drives, and more.
• Lay out and install mechanical systems that meet codes and internal standards.
• Create simple fixtures and supports by welding or bolting, using diagrams and prints.
• Leverage equipment schematics and service manuals to plan work and resolve faults.
• Contribute to preventive and corrective maintenance efforts to improve reliability.
• Champion safety and organization—follow LOTO and Confined Space Entry, and maintain a clean work area.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

What It Takes

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a technical certification, or 3+ years with a high school diploma/equivalent.
• Proven hands-on experience with hydraulics, plumbing, welding, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Background working around industrial control systems; PLC experience preferred.
• Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Comfort using measurement/diagnostic tools (tape measures, micrometers, voltage meters, etc.).
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making abilities.
• Works well independently and with a team.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.

Rewards

Hourly base pay ranges from $26.25 to $36.05, plus a $1.00 shift differential for this schedule. Actual pay is determined by the role’s responsibilities, your experience, education and training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market/business factors. With authorization to work outside the listed location, compensation may be adjusted based on geography.
