Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Pennsylvania, requiring prior Cath Lab and IR experience along with Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
• Procedures include vascular studies, angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper and lower extremity angiography
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• On-call coverage required for off-shift and weekends with a 30-minute response requirement
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license required; no license violations accepted
• Current AHA or ARC certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior Cath Lab and IR experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in sheath removal and monitoring, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and radiation and laser safety
• Must be able to respond on-call within 30 minutes

Additional Information

• Candidates undergo a clinical screening process prior to manager review and interview
• May be required to care for COVID-positive patients
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• EKG exam must be completed and passed within 72 hours of contract signing, where applicable
• Pre-start orientation modules are required and typically take 5–6 hours to complete
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a different pay rate
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per contract
• Travel pairs are accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
