Sr. Data Systems Analyst

Job Description

A healthcare payor client is hiring for a Senior Data Systems Analyst to join their Enterprise Data Product organization. This person will be responsible for the data collection, extraction, cleaning and analysis of the enterprise's critical data requests. It is key that this person has experience working in large complex data environments and understands how to own end to end requirement delivery within a complex data lake and data warehouse environment. The ideal person will have healthcare payor analytics experience and a proven ability to operate in a very demanding techno functional environment.

NOTE: This is a hybrid onsite role where you will be onsite weekly in Newtown Square, PA

Skills and Requirements

• 9 years of experience in an enterprise environment with business/ data analysis, project management, and process re-engineering concentration.

• 5 years of experience in Healthcare industry (Medicaid, Medicare) preferred.

• Strong SQL skills with ability to create and build queries from scratch

• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to validate reporting layer data

• Strong expertise in Azure Databricks (Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog).

• Strong communication and leadership abilities for cross-functional teamwork.

• Serves as a SME for all components of a major system, understanding how the information is used and how the system(s) may need to be adapted to changes in business processes.

• Possess strong understanding prior experience in Healthcare Systems like FACETS

• Prior experience in EDI data transactions and/ or Care Management data standards
