Senior Manager - Fuel for Growth (SMFG-PR)

Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders across the company, representing the FP&A function to align on financial strategies and actions that support enterprise-wide initiatives across margin improvement, cost optimization, and capital efficiency. Act as a financial project manager to formalize the impact of strategic initiatives and integrate them into the Long-Term Financial Model over a multi-year horizon. Champion efforts to drive merchandise margin and operating expense improvements through the Fuel for Growth initiative, ensuring savings targets are achieved and accurately reflected in budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with business leaders and FP&A teams to develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting dashboards that highlight performance gaps, risks to forecasts, and long-term financial implications. Lead capital expenditure reviews to ensure investments are cost-engineered for optimal ROI and identify obsolete assets for potential impairment. Drive working capital efficiency by analyzing opportunities and advocating for process changes that enhance liquidity and operational effectiveness. Monitor the financial impact of strategic initiatives through regular reporting and incorporate cost-benefit projections into long-range planning. Support enterprise earnings improvement by analyzing P&L variances, identifying key drivers, and communicating forecast trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership. Manage the long-term planning process by gathering inputs across business units and consolidating them into enterprise-level financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow. Develop and present executive-level scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making, leveraging deep knowledge of financial interdependencies to refine modeling approaches. Lead the development of Board and C-Suite presentations covering monthly and quarterly results, earnings forecasts, external guidance, and annual budgets. Use external investor insights to inform financial messaging and investment strategy and collaborate with business partners to ensure presentations reflect relevant business dynamics. Provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior executives by analyzing financial risks and opportunities and delivering insights that support sustainable growth and strategic alignment. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 5 years of related experience.
