Registered Nurse - Nights (Long-Term Care)
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, rotating schedule (Two days on/Two days off, Three days on)
Hourly Rate: $32.00 + $1.75 Night Shift Differential

Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends

The RN provides professional nursing care to residents, supervising and directing nursing assistants and LPNs in accordance with state and federal regulations. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care, medication administration, and documentation in EHR/EMR systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily nursing activities of nursing assistants and LPNs.
- Administer and record medications, treatments, and monitor resident response.
- Update and review resident care plans; communicate changes to staff and families.
- Assist physicians with rounds, exams, and treatments as needed.
- Collect laboratory specimens and coordinate delivery to the hospital.
- Oversee resident care in post-mortem procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support residents’ participation in activities and provide direct care as required.
- Conduct team conferences and assist in staff training and orientation.
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and quality assurance standards.
Basic Knowledge and Skills:
- Current PA RN license or temporary work permit required at the time of interview.
- Knowledge of medical asepsis, body mechanics, nursing theory, and elderly care.
- Effective communication, observation, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS (AHA) – Required.
- COVID-19 Vaccine – Required.
- Nursing Home experience preferred.
