Position SummaryThe Project Manager will be responsible for leading environmental and civil engineering projects, with a focus on regulatory compliance and site remediation under Pennsylvania and New Jersey guidelines. This individual will manage both technical execution and client relationships, with oversight of field teams, subcontractors, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate brings a blend of project management expertise, technical writing skills, and a strong understanding of environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities-
Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of environmental and engineering projects

Manage client expectations, communications, and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle

Develop and review technical reports and regulatory submittals, including:

Pennsylvania Act 2 reports
-
New Jersey SRP documents such as SI, RI, RAWP, CEA, etc.

Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for a variety of remediation and assessment projects

Coordinate project scheduling, personnel assignments, and subcontractor engagement

Perform data analysis (soil, groundwater, vapor) and interpret environmental sampling results

Monitor and control project budgets to ensure financial performance

Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to junior staff

Support business development by cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunities

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

5 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, geology, or engineering

Professional Geologist (PG) license in PA or Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in NJ is a plus

Strong technical report writing and proposal development skills

Knowledge of environmental regulatory programs in both PA and NJ

Experience managing field programs with a strong commitment to health and safety

Proven record of building and maintaining client relationships

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
