- Reservation Management:
Oversee the reservation system, including advance confirmation, managing changes to accommodate waitlist guests, and enforcing cancellation policies, including last-minute cancellation fees. - Business Development:
Develop and implement initiatives to optimize seating, increase traffic, and drive sales, supporting the growth of this newer concept. - Training & Development:
Train and coach team members to elevate service standards and ensure consistent guest experiences. - Shift Supervision:
Conduct a preshift to go over any details about the shift (allergies, dietary restrictions, celebrations, special requests). Lead shifts by monitoring service flow, addressing service gaps, conducting table touches, managing expectations, and ensuring positive guest interactions. Supporting service with seating, running food, bussing, resetting, and/or making drinks. Filling out a guided shift report detailing the events of the evening. - Scheduling:
Create and manage staff schedules in advance to ensure proper coverage while maintaining efficient staffing levels.
- Uphold and enforce operational standards established by the management team.
- Ensure shifts run smoothly and efficiently.
- Provide hands-on support during service as needed.
- Conduct table touches and engage positively with guests.
- Create and manage floor plans for assigned shifts.
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Assist management with team development and performance improvement
