Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 base + bonus eligibility

A prestigious, nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its Pittsburgh office on a hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic group of attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position Overview

The Legal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys, ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of client matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and presentations
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and travel arrangements
• Handle document management, including organizing electronic and physical files
• Assist with court filings, including e-filing in state and federal courts
• Coordinate with clients, court personnel, vendors, and internal teams
• Maintain client files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
• Track deadlines and support attorneys in meeting court and client requirements
• Enter and track attorney time, assist with billing coordination as needed
• Support general administrative functions, including expense reports and matter management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or administrative assistant in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong knowledge of legal document formatting and court filing procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and document management systems
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Additional Information:

Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. xrczosw PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
