Senior Corporate Governance & Compliance Lead

Role:

This is a highly visible opportunity with a large, publicly traded organization headquartered locally. We are seeking 8+ years of governance and SEC compliance within a legal counsel or at a global law firm to support Board operations, regulatory filings, and corporate governance initiatives. This role partners directly with executive leadership, legal, auditors, and external advisors to ensure full compliance with SEC, exchange, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the integrity of corporate records and disclosures.

The position oversees entity management across domestic and international structures, supports all aspects of SEC reporting (including insider filings and periodic reports), and plays a key role in proxy statement preparation and annual shareholder meeting execution. Additionally, this individual will support Board and committee operations, maintain governance documentation, and act as a liaison across shareholder services and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree. Masters or MBA is highly preferred.

• 8+ years of experience in corporate governance and SEC compliance.

• Must come from a publicly traded company, legal department, or legal services environment

Working Situation:

This will be hybrid with 3 days a week in the office.
