Job Title: Part Time Human Resources Generalist

Job Description:

The Human Resources Generalist will perform administrative and HR functions related to the operation of the Human Resources Functions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct new employee orientations and exit interviews
• Meet with employees regarding HR issues.
• Serve as a liaison to the Human Resources Manager
• Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed.
• Assist with timecard management and obtaining missed punch forms
• Coordinate safety training for new hire with Safety Manager
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Administrative training required.
• Two years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• SHRM Certification highly desired but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Working Conditions:

• Conditions inside the office is generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
