Job Description:
Lead the implementation and ownership of a Snowflake-based enterprise data platform, supporting a critical finance transformation initiative and multi-source analytics strategy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Build and stand up a Snowflake data lake environment from scratch
- Integrate 7–8 data sources into a unified platform (ERP, SaaS, databases)
- Collaborate with external vendors and Snowflake integrators
- Develop Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions
- Optimize Snowflake performance, cost, and scalability
- Implement data security and access controls
- Support finance data transformation and reporting initiatives
- Document architecture, data pipelines, and operational processes
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience building or significantly contributing to a Snowflake environment
- Strong knowledge of data lake/warehouse design
- Experience with performance optimization and cost management in Snowflake
- Expertise in security and access controls within data platforms
- Advanced SQL and relational database experience (Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery, etc.)
- Proven experience integrating multiple data sources into a centralized platform
- Experience working with ERP/financial systems and SaaS tools
- Ability to manage external vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Oracle-based systems or ERP platforms (should know Oracle Fusion)
- Tableau or other data visualization tools
- AWS cloud services (S3, IAM, VPC)
- Experience with Python, dbt, or ETL/ELT tools
- Background in healthcare or multi-site organizations
