Field Service Technician - Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with heavy equipment experience to join our team for immediate hire to service various types of material handling equipment and forklifts in the Morgantown and Reading, PA areas . This position will require a candidate who can work with limited supervision and has the ability to think and operate independently. Must have your own tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, diagnose, and service heavy lift equipment (diesel, electric, or LP) to diagnose technical problems.
• Determine required repairs.
• Maintain equipment service records.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks onsite at customer locations.
• Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to guarantee proper performance and compliance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• Hydraulic and diesel experience necessary.
• Strong electrical aptitude necessary.
• Must have clean, safe driving record.
• Prior mechanical and technical experience on large mobile equipment preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and background check.
