Director of Sales and Marketing
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our commercial growth initiatives. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving revenue by developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a manufacturing or B2B environment , with a strong emphasis on business development and brand building. This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be located in the Lancaster or Bloomsburg, PA area to facilitate minimal in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a small sales team, setting clear goals and providing the resources needed for success.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to the leadership team, including forecasts and insights.
- Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategy.
Marketing Management
- Marketing Strategy: Create and execute a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with sales goals, enhances brand visibility, and generates qualified leads.
- Brand Management: Oversee all aspects of brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and a strong market presence.
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website content, social media, and email campaigns, to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Collateral Development: Direct the creation of all sales and marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and case studies.
- Budgeting: Manage the sales and marketing budgets effectively, ensuring a high return on investment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, preferably in a manufacturing or B2B setting .
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the sales cycles and marketing challenges specific to a custom manufacturing/manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- Location: Must reside in the Lancaster or Bloomsburg, PA area. Minimal travel will be required for on-site meetings.
