Maintenance Technician – Packaging Equipment | Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (1st & 2nd Shift)
Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support packaging equipment, electrical systems, and plant machinery . This role is ideal for candidates with strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM) experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to reduce downtime
- Maintain hydraulic systems, motors, and controls
- Conduct safety inspections and equipment repairs
- Assist with general plant maintenance
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance/manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with hand/power tools and measuring instruments
- High school diploma or technical training preferred
- Must be local/able to commute
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $25–$35/hour (DOE) + Overtime + Shift Differential
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 70–100 lbs
- Frequent walking, climbing, and tool use
