Goal of the Restaurant Manager

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong leadership and operational oversight for The Living Room , ensuring exceptional service standards, colleague engagement, and financial performance. This role is instrumental in delivering the Park Hyatt luxury experience by creating personalized guest interactions that embody our philosophy that Luxury is Personal .

Working closely with the Director of Operations , Food & Beverage leadership team, and other hotel departments, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of The Living Room while providing support to the overall Food & Beverage department.

Restaurant Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of The Living Room, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Operations and fellow Food & Beverage leaders to drive service, quality, and financial results.
  • Foster a culture of luxury hospitality by ensuring personalized, anticipatory service that reflects the Park Hyatt brand.
  • Support F&B operations and other Food & Beverage initiatives as needed.
  • Responsible for short- and long-term planning of assigned outlet operations.
  • Recruit, hire, train, develop, and retain high-performing colleagues while creating opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire colleagues to achieve exceptional guest satisfaction and employee engagement results.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of colleague engagement and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to enhance revenue, drive guest loyalty, and manage costs effectively.
  • Assist in developing budgets, marketing plans, and operational objectives while ensuring performance aligns with approved plans.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence in the outlet, demonstrating professionalism, energy, and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, seasonal activations, and holiday programming.
  • Take ownership of outlet performance and operate with an entrepreneurial mindset while maintaining alignment with hotel and brand standards.

Pay Salary Range- $85,000-$100,000

Qualifications

Experience
  • 3+ years of restaurant leadership experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing service teams.
  • Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory controls, and departmental financial performance preferred.
  • Luxury hospitality experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications
  • Full-time management position requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules based on business needs.
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering personalized guest experiences.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams.
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
  • Professional presence with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
