Front of House Team Member

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cashiering, and food handling and food packing with a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants, as well as familiarity with POS systems lis highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
• Pack and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change efficiently
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house area, including dining space, counters, and serving stations
• Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Manage food safety protocols and ensure proper handling of all food items
• Buss tables and assist with general sanitation duties to ensure a tidy environment
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking across various roles such as serving, cashiering, or cleaning

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, or retail environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure quick service delivery
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays is required
