Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role involves collaborating with clients and project teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that meet project specifications and client needs.
Duties
- Design clinical practice and retail spaces for clients; create 2D and 3D floorplans and construction drawings; collaborate with Design team to meet clients’ needs
- Present design ideas and proposals to clients
- Attend regular meetings with clients, both in office and onsite; maintain communication with clients throughout duration of project
- Manage projects start to finish and ensure construction is completed by deadline specified
- Provide project updates/changes or modifications to design team as necessary
- Negotiate with contractors and other professionals; maintain professional relationships to ensure project is completed accurately and on time; resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; advanced degree a plus
- Minimum of seven (7) years of architectural experience designing clinical practices and/or retail spaces for the medical or optical industry
- Tenant fit out experience required
- Experience with Design build projects a plus
- Prior project management experience
- Extensive experience working in AutoCAD
- Experience creating original designs
- Prior experience with projects in the Tri-State area highly preferred
