• Location: York, PA 17403 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (4 Southwest - Med Surg)
• Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend & holidays as needed
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Unit Size: 56 beds (44 high acuity med surg, 12 IMCU)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,830 - $1,880

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Pennsylvania or compact state; no license hits accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA or ARC only) required
• EPIC charting experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Ability to float to rehab or other nursing units as needed
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Tobacco and fragrance-free healthcare facility

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with pulmonary, renal, cardiac, and stroke diagnoses
• Monitor and manage telemetry, tracheostomy, ventilator, and high-flow oxygen modalities
• Administer medications, including insulin drips (IMCU)
• Perform wound care, tracheostomy management, and feeding tube care
• Respond to rapid response and code team activations as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, etc.)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Care for COVID-19 patients as assigned
