Now Hiring: Environmental Services: Housekeeping/Laundry Aide

Location: Parkhouse Rehabilitation & Nursing Center – Royersford, PA

Rate: $14.00/hour

Status: Full-Time and Part-Time | Alternating Weekends & Holidays Required

Job Summary:

Are you reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in keeping things clean and organized?
Join our dedicated team as a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide and help us provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily (dusting, mopping, sanitizing, etc.), while respecting resident privacy and preferences

• Safely dispose of trash, including bio-hazardous materials, following all facility policies

• Handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies properly, following safety guidelines

• Complete personal laundry services for residents, including labeling and tracking clothing

• Support the Director of Facility Operations with inspection readiness and attend required training sessions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Able to read, understand, and follow verbal/written directions in English

• Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors

• Physically able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

• Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry in a healthcare or institutional setting preferred
