Salary Range: 110K Up to 15% Bonus

Job Description:
Hands-on SQL Server DBA role supporting development teams, performing proactive troubleshooting, SSIS package development, and managing high availability systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and optimize SQL Server performance

• Design and maintain SSIS packages and SQL Server databases

• Support developers with SQL and database guidance

• Administer AlwaysOn Availability Groups

• Maintain database security, backup/restore, and monitoring

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (every 3 weeks)

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 5 years of SQL Server DBA experience

  • Strong T-SQL and SQL Server skills

  • Proficient with SSIS

  • Experience with AlwaysOn Availability Groups

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related (or equivalent experience)

  • U.S. Citizenship (required for federal clearance)

  • Student loan accounts must be current (for clearance eligibility)

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • PowerShell scripting experience

  • Experience in financial or government sectors

  • Familiarity with vSphere, Microsoft Server 2016/2019, Veeam

  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and data warehousing
