Job Description

The Retail Sales and Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, front desk duties, ordering, shipping, data entry, filing, etc. This role will be required to work well with customers, visitors, client and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. In addition to varied front desk tasks, this role will also be the point of contact for Retail operations including, but not limited to, inventory, shipping/receiving, and online fullfillment.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs

Job Responsibilities

  • Greets and assists customers while anticipating their needs
  • Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels and replenishes and arranges items as needed to maintain appearance
  • Responsible for cash handling, safe verifications, and preparing deposits
  • Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers. Is adaptable to customer needs.
  • Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Accurately pack, secure, and ship customer orders within designated timeframes and verify order accuracy by cross-checking items and quantities against packing slips and orders.
  • Supply guests or travelers with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest.
  • Book reservations, rentals, and coordinate registration
  • Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions.
  • Answers phone calls and emails and delivers messages as needed.
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Coordinate resolution of guest concerns
  • Communicates closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous guest services/hotel front desk experience required
  • Previous retail and retail operations experience required
  • Previous retail software expereince preferred
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
