Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team during an exciting period of transition. If you are a payroll professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a mastery of UKG, we would love to hear from you.

This role is critical for maintaining payroll accuracy and supporting our systems interfacing. For the right candidate, there is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a major Workday implementation currently underway.

What You’ll Do

• Payroll Execution: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a complex manufacturing environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• System Interfacing: Work across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless data flow from payroll systems to the SAP General Ledger.

• Data Mastery: Use advanced Excel skills to organize data, create pivot tables, and generate reports for management.

• Accounting Support: Apply general accounting knowledge to reconcile payroll accounts and manage financial documentation.

• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee and tax information with the strictest level of discretion.

Candidate Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated payroll experience.

• Systems: Direct, hands-on experience with UKG is required.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (must be able to create and manage Pivot Tables).

• Admin Savvy: Proficiency in converting Excel and Word documents into professional PDF formats.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with diverse internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Software: Experience with PeopleSoft and/or SAP General Ledger.

• The "Workday Advantage": Familiarity with Workday is highly valued, as we are currently undergoing a system implementation.
