Attorney - Insurance Defense
Associate Attorney Opportunity - Leading Defense Firm - Philadelphia, PA - HYBRID

This role offers exposure to a variety of fields including insurance defense, PI , and construction , with opportunities to take depositions, draft and argue motions, and participate in trials and arbitrations.
Compensation: Will submit candidates at desired base salary + bonus
Billable Hours Requirement: 2000/year (plenty of work to do, easy to hit)
Benefits:
- Hybrid work model (4 days onsite 1-day WFH)
- Hours are not tracked - Very flexible as long as candidate is hitting their billable hour requirement
- Raises yearly in Feb
- Paid LTD/STD
- Dental Insurance plan (employee paid)
- Medical Insurance (3 plans BCBS) employees pay $77 per paycheck
- 401k plan starts day 1 - safe harbour and profit share (~5% Contribution by firm regardless of employee contribution)
- 26 days PTO (prorated depending on start date)
Job Details:
- MUST be licensed in PA xrczosw
- 3-5 YOE, ideally in defense
- Handle diverse defense cases (products or premises liability, commercial litigation, insurance law and coverage, etc.)
- Take depositions, draft and argue motions
- Communicate directly with clients, manage billing and reporting
- Experience participating in a trial and arbitration preferred
