We have nine offices, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Charlotte, Cleveland, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC., and specialize in new construction, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects. Rycon's portfolio consists of projects and developments in health care, educational (K-12 & higher ed), industrial/warehouse, commercial, multi-unit residential, retail, financial, food service/dining, governmental, hospitality, cannabis, self-storage, and LEED facilities. We excel in preconstruction planning, MEP expertise, with experienced project team members focused on the multiple markets we serve. We also have an in-house Architectural Woodwork & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

We are seeking a Tier 1 IT Support Specialist at our Pittsburgh office.

What you will do :


  • Provide first-level technical support to over 600 users remotely and locally. Utilizing helpdesk ticketing system, emails, and calls to resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.

  • Provide support for desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.

  • Assist users with account setup, password resets, and access permissions.

  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and account provisioning.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to manage tasks.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot, identify, and provide technical solutions to end users.

What you will need to be successful:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR

  • Associate’s degree in a related field plus one or more of the following certifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, Microsoft Office, and common IT tools.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues.

  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced IT environment.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with helpdesk call center environment.

  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.

  • Exposure to networking concepts and cyber security basics.

  • CompTIA A+

  • CompTIA Network+

  • Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals (e.g., Azure, M365)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 admin center and Co-Pilot
