Salary: $50-70k DOE
Seeking a Construction Estimator for a construction company in the Chambersburg PA area.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Provide quotes for potential work in the construction field
- Looking for a very detailed person who can learn this industries specific software that quotes are generated in
- Person would also assist with finding jobs and jobsites/websites in which jobs are posted for bid purposes
- Review all completed jobs to determine accuracy of quotes and ensure profitability targets are hit
- Follow-up with GC's and other personnel about any questions on quotes
- Put all information about new potential jobs in computer system in the event company is awarded the job
- Help with scheduling of actual jobs that bids are awarded
- Assist with some Project Management
- Review work when done to ensure quotes were good and hitting needed margins on front end
Desired Education/Qualities:
- Someone with previous construction estimating experience preferred
- Person must be a very detailed oriented person
- Prefer someone who is very good with numbers
- Need a highly organized, self motivated individual for this position
- Position would work out of Chambersburg PA office
