Full Time Fiscal Officer
Primary duties include:
- Review, process, and reconcile accounts payable
- Maintain County-wide vendor database and relating payment relationships
- Review and enter purchase orders
- Prepare deposit payments to the financial institutions and enter payments into the fiscal system
- Prepare all fiscal invoicing for reimbursements and reconcile aged collections and accounts receivable
- Review department-approved biweekly payroll time sheets
Successful candidate must possess:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
- Two (2) years’ experience in a related field
- Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Public sector work experience preferred.
Compensation includes a starting salary of $21.36/hour, with consideration for relevant experience. Perry County employment offers a comprehensive benefit package that includes generous paid time off, a County retirement plan, and health, dental, and vision insurance after a 90-day probation period.
