Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
Monitor patients preoperatively and postoperatively for stability and recovery
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on clinical needs
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and standards
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the perioperative team
Participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled

Requirements:

Experience:
Minimum of 1 year or more experience in an ASU and/or PACU unit

Licenses/Certifications:
Active RN license
BLS
ACLS
PALS
