CT Technologist Job Details – Wilkes-Barre, PA

• Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 8/18/2025 – End: 11/18/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – CT Scan Unit
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM), Saturday/Sunday/Monday (3 shifts per week)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel, Locum Tenens CT Technologist

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT CT certification (CT Technologist certification required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or clinical healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, and advanced CT technology
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and post-processing using advanced imaging technology and established clinical protocols
• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and imaging computer systems to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare, position, and shield patients for CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Maintain and update CT imaging protocols, adhering to safety and radiation dose guidelines
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA studies (including TAVR, EVAR, Cardiac imaging)
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
