We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator to join our team at Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring our nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

As a RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator , you will be responsible for developing and implementing education programs to improve the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff. You will work closely with our nursing team to identify educational needs and develop targeted training programs to address these needs. Your expertise will help to enhance patient outcomes, improve patient safety, and foster a culture of excellence within our organization.

RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, including online courses, in-service training, and on-the-floor training
• Identify educational needs and develop targeted training programs to address these needs
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Provide mentorship and coaching to new staff members
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely records of education programs and staff training

RN Registered Nurse Staff Educator Requirements:

• RN Registered Nurse license and active registration with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
• Prior experience in nursing education or leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and patient safety
