Senior Business Systems Analyst

Position Title : Bus Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid 3 days a week, up to onsite 5 days per week

• Pittsburgh, PA (preferred)
• Dallas, TX

Roles and Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with development and testing teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Capture detailed meeting notes, document action items, manage work boards, and create delivery schedules
• Support data migration activities between legacy and target systems
• Refine and prioritize the backlog to inform roadmap development
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate release management activities and maintain accurate documentation
• Utilize enterprise ticketing and release management tools for tracking and reporting

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Agile software delivery and methodologies
• Agile project management tools (e.g., documentation and issue tracking platforms)
• Enterprise service management platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite
• API testing tools
• Application performance and monitoring dashboards
• Strong collaboration within cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience bridging Product Ownership/Management and Development teams
• Collaboration with Architecture and Design teams
• Backlog maintenance and organization
• Roadmap development and milestone tracking
• Release planning and delivery forecasting

Soft Skills

• Leadership, delegation, negotiation, influence, and persuasion
• Ability to present and facilitate high-impact communications
• Driving change management and continuous improvement initiatives

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Preferred fields of study: Management Information Systems, Technology-focused Business, or related disciplines

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
