• Title: Innovation Lead
• Location: Pittsburgh, PA (preferred) - 5 days onsite
• Contract: W2 only, 6-12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
• Pay: $47/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview

We are seeking an Innovation Lead with a strong process background to support expanding services in experience integration and strategy. The role involves working on a cross-functional team to develop new capabilities, including process reimagination, within a regulated industry environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process innovation and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and modeling efforts, including Business Process Management (BPM), customer journey mapping, and service blueprinting
• Map systems integration and apply Gen AI to business processes and human augmentation
• Conduct data analytics and data science activities to inform process improvements
• Apply design thinking and human-centered design principles
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes
• Support agile project management practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• Develop and evaluate risk/control measures and design business architecture solutions
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including microservice architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills

• Experienced in human-centered design or design thinking
• Knowledge of how technology is delivered, including understanding Agile methodologies and requirements building
• Process engineering and modeling expertise
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma and BPM
• Strong understanding of business architecture and digital transformation
• Familiarity with microservice architecture
• Experience with data analytics and data science
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Education

Preferred Skills

• Experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, energy, or insurance
• Background in consulting or process engineering
• Knowledge of systems thinking and Jobs to be Done / Jobs theory
• Experience with risk/control evaluation and design
• Understanding of systems integration mapping
• Experience with Gen AI applications and human augmentation
