Records technician - office
The Monroe County Prothonotary's Office is now accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Record Technician. This position provides general administrative support and over-the-counter assistance within the assigned records division or department. Duties include greeting and assisting the public, processing and maintaining records, preparing legal documents, distributing files and correspondence, and providing customer service and administrative support as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have two (2) years of previous experience and/or training involving records retention, filing, typing, and other general administrative duties; OR any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position
