The Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Fiscal Technician to support our finance operations. This position is vital to ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of fiscal processes and the integrity of critical data systems.

The Fiscal Technician will support day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, account reconciliation and reporting. The ideal candidate will have superior knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel , experience with nonprofit financial systems, and the ability to adapt to multiple platforms and processes in a fast-paced, policy-driven non-profit environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform routine research, data entry, processing and denials of all provider invoices for Ambulatory and Inpatient services.
• Produce Quarterly Reconciliation of treatment expenditures (Backup).
• Manage reconciling client funding and invoicing problems (Lead).
• Contact providers regarding billing and payment issues.
• Provide technical assistance as requested.
• Maintain a filing system of reports and invoices.
• Produce monthly Funds Balance reconciliation (Backup).
• Track outstanding denials on log and follow up with providers for submission before Quarterly closings (Backup)
• Asset with chargebacks – IT Department
• Liaison for all accounts related to IT (Zoom, Verizon, etc.)
• Fiscal monitoring (Backup)

Qualifications :

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in fiscal operations, accounting support, or database administration in a professional setting.
• Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel), financial management systems (e.g., SAGE 100 or similar), database systems and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Access and REDCap).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Adaptable to change, and willingness to learn and adopt new procedures and new technologies
