Position Summary
Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish seeks a Business Office Assistant to assist the Business Manager and office staff with financial and administrative operations for the parish and school. This position plays a vital role in financial processing and reporting, tuition management, and providing administrative support for parish operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process parish contributions and prepare donor acknowledgment letters.
- Manage tuition billing, FACTS payment plans, and related adjustments.
- Maintain parishioner, donor, and sacramental records in the database.
- Manage census updates and assist with new parishioner registrations (as needed).
- Support annual parish outreach mailings and bulk communications.
- Provide reports and data to support parish ministries and events.
- Generate year-end giving statements and assist with financial reporting.
- Assist with sacramental data entry and related communications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Adobe.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with CRM systems or databases a plus (training provided).
- Practicing Catholic in good standing who embraces the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
