Web Design Project Manager

Job Summary:

To excel in this position, you should already have a love for web design, computer science, technology or digital art, and a proven ability to lead web development initiatives.
Note: This position is not remote, but in-person.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the flawless execution of web development projects.
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Create detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation, to track project progress.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Monitor and measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report project status to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct risk management to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to establish and maintain productive relationships.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project briefs, requirements, and specifications.
- Review project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with company branding guidelines.
- Manage clients at all project phases, including expectation setting, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Delegate tasks to team members, provide guidance, and set performance expectations.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web development and project management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in web project management or a related role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage web development projects from initiation to completion.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of web design and marketing principles and best practices.
- No degree required (Computer Science background will be given priority)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26,880.00 - $42,240.00 per year
