Snow Removal/Landscaping Laborer. Cove Contracting LLC has 6 openings. Temp/FT. 4/01/26 to 12/30/26. Work location: 718 Old Marple Road, Springfield, PA 19064. Shovel, throw and plow snow, spread salt to sidewalks at commercial, institutional and residential properties. Use shovel, broom, plow and salt spreader. Apply deicing products like rock salt, calcium, etc. Before and after snow/sleet events clean off all equipment, trucks with power washer and soap and any other related tasks. Start times vary due to unpredictable nature of snow and ice events. Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand of power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform of variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units and any other related tasks. All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. When it is not snowing or icing, split, stack and deliver firewood to home owners and end users as a heat source for the winter season and any other related tasks. Employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies & equipment required to perform the job. 35 hrs per week. Hours, subject to industry practice and are not guaranteed per day or per week, e.g., rainouts, brief periods without scheduled work, work hrs & dates subject to change based upon adverse weather of other factors, and unforeseen cancellations. M-F 7:00-2:30 pm. Will offer wage $18.54/hr ($27.81 OT) OT varies. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Payday weekly. Payroll deductions as required by law. Merit pay raises may be available at the employer's discretion. Employer will provide transportation to and from workshop listed above to multiple worksites in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, PA. Must verify 2 months of experience as a snow removal labor. Saturdays required when necessary. No min education required. No on-the-job training will be provided. Employer paid criminal background & drug test prior to employment. Reasonable & most economical/common carrier transportation costs for both out-of town and H-2B workers living abroad to the place of employment will be reimbursed, by a single check issued to the employee in the full amount as required by DOL regulations when and if the worker completes half of the employment period. Upon completion of contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation back home, except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer. H-2B workers will be reimbursed, in the first workweek, for all visa: visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employees will be provided w/minimal daily subsistence of at least $16.28 per day during travel, up to a max of $68.00 p/day w/receipts.
