Manager, Enterprise Voice Communications

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Enterprise Voice Communications to lead our enterprise voice engineering organization. This leadership role is responsible for managing a team of voice engineers while driving the strategy, architecture, security, and operational excellence of a large-scale enterprise communications environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of voice engineers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Develop the long-term vision and roadmap for enterprise voice and unified communications technologies.
• Oversee modern enterprise telephony platforms, voice infrastructure, and carrier relationships.
• Manage strategic vendor partnerships, contract negotiations, and service delivery.
• Ensure highly available, secure, and resilient voice services across the enterprise.
• Lead platform modernization efforts, technology upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Partner with business and IT leadership to align communications technologies with organizational goals.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements, governance, and continuous service optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable professional experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise voice, unified communications, or telecommunications environments, including leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success managing engineering teams, technical projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with enterprise voice platforms, session border controllers (SBCs), SIP technologies, and carrier connectivity.
• Strong background supporting enterprise communications solutions such as Ribbon, Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with communications security, cloud-based voice solutions, vulnerability management, and regulatory or compliance best practices.
• Experience working with enterprise security and risk management tools is highly desirable.
• Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, vendor management, and negotiation skills.
