responsibilities:

• Perform routine environmental monitoring (EM) in GMP classified areas, including:
  • Viable air sampling
  • Non-viable air sampling
  • Surface sampling
  • Settling plate analysis
• Prepare EM samples for laboratory analysis, including endotoxin and bioburden testing.
• Participate in laboratory investigations related to EM deviations and excursions.
• Accurately enter and manage EM data in GMP systems (LIMS/LES, Veeva, SAP/ERP).
• Complete all required SOP and hands-on training related to EM procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all EM activities.
• Work with a high degree of urgency and accuracy due to the commitment to the FDA.

qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of direct experience performing environmental monitoring in GMP environment, can be in a research environment
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific field
• Experience with viable air, non-viable air, surface sampling, and settling plate analysis
• Experience with data entry and management in GMP systems (LIMS/LES, Veeva, SAP/ERP)
• Experience with endotoxin and bioburden testing

Preferred:

• Experience with laboratory investigations related to EM deviations
• Advanced knowledge of microbiological testing techniques
