Job Description

• 10+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available network environments (hyperscale cloud, ISP, or service provider).

• 7+ years in people leadership, with experience managing managers and geographically distributed teams.

• Bachelor's degree

• Proven track record of scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth.

• Deep understanding of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, etc.).

• Strong background in data center networking, fabrics, backbone, and multi-cloud solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to formulate strategy, drive delivery, and communicate effectively at the executive level.

• Responsible for protocol inter-networking and architecture of our cloud computing platform. Configure and troubleshoot network traffic engineering using BGP/OSPF and large-scale network operations and maintenance procedures. Analyze networks and troubleshoot network bugs to successfully mitigate large scale issues. Configure routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers, as well as upgrade software on routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers on a large-scale network. Conceptualize large scalable network solutions, write applicable acceptance and design documentation while implementing on a reduced time scale. Mentor and lead an organization of Network Engineers.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
