This job posting will be for ALL full-time professional contracted PASD Elementary Teacher and Elementary Teacher (LTS) positions for external applicants for the 2026-27 school year that are known by August 1, 2026. Any new openings for 2026-27 after August 1, 2026 will be posted individually.



Job Overview:
A successful candidate will be able to provide instruction in all elementary subject areas in a self-contained elementary classroom. Candidates will be considered for any full-time contractual teaching position or long-term substitute elementary teaching position within all four (4) elementary schools within our District:

• Forge Road Elementary School (Grades 1-5)
• Lingle Avenue Elementary School (Grades K-5)
• Northside Elementary School (Grades 1-5)
• Pine Street Elementary School (Grades 1-5)

Qualifications:

• Must have a PA Instructional I/II Elementary K-6 (2810), Instructional I/II Grades PK-4 (2825), Instructional I/II Grades 4-8 (All subjects 4-6), or Instructional I/II Early Childhood N-3 certification is required.
• Proficiency in using Common Core Standards, balanced literacy, guided reading, differentiation of instruction, and utilizing data to drive instruction is required.
• Previous experience working in a school-setting is preferred.
