Cannonball Recruiting is partnering with multiple production and job shop facilities across Pennsylvania to hire seasoned CNC professionals who thrive on turning prints into flawlessly machined components. You’ll work with leading equipment from Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Mazak, and other top brands—setting up, running, and verifying complex work with confidence.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $30–$40/hr
• Shifts: 1st (Mon–Fri) or 2nd (Mon–Fri)
• OT: Available

A day in the life

You start by loading material and dialing in fixtures. You’ll set up a CNC mill, lathe, grinder, or a multi‑axis platform, verify programs, and run first‑article parts. Throughout the day, you interpret blueprints and GD&T, make smart offsets, and validate dimensions with CMMs, micrometers, and depth gages—documenting inspections and partnering closely with the team to keep quality and safety front‑and‑center.

What you’ll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and multi‑axis machines
• Read and apply blueprints, machine manuals, and GD&T symbols
• Use strong math skills to calculate speeds/feeds, tool paths, and tolerances
• Work confidently across various metals and alloys
• Measure and verify parts with CMMs, micrometers, depth gages, and related tools
• Follow best practices for safety and good manufacturing
• Complete quality control documentation and inspection records

What you bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent; must be 18 or older
• Trade certificate or 2+ years operating CNC machines
• Keen attention to detail and clear communication
• Collaborative mindset and openness to new ideas and methods
