Job Summary

Pittsburgh, PA | Aspinwall

• Start Date: ideally August 18th, but as soon as the perfect fit is found!
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week, open to discussing a 5-day a week schedule for the perfect fit
• Hourly Rate: $28-30
• Children: 3-year-old, 21-month-old, and 4-month-old
• Pets: One sweet, low-maintenance dog (just needs let out + water bowl check)
• Paid Vacation: One week paid of the nanny’s choice, one week paid of the family’s choice, and all major holidays, including Christmas Eve

Responsibilities and Duties

If your perfect day involves snacks packed by 8:30, three kids in tow, and a walk to the splash pad before most people finish their coffee—then welcome home! This powerhouse, walk-everywhere family in Aspinwall is searching for a playful, proactive, and incredibly organized nanny to join their high-energy team. The parents are kind, involved, and well-prepared. With a fast-paced professional role, Mom is no stranger to multitasking—and she brings that same level of intention and organization into her home life. They genuinely want a nanny who’s confident working solo, but also excited to collaborate and communicate. Both parents work from home in a hybrid set-up but plan to give their nanny full autonomy. Thanks to a rotating school schedule where one big kid heads to preschool each morning, and with grandparents pitching in on drop-offs, your mornings will almost always include just two kids. School is just five minutes away, so the commute is quick and coordinated. With playgrounds, ball fields, and the library just minutes away, this family can often be found out and about—playing in the park, strolling to story time, or stopping into neighborhood shops on their daily adventures, where they are already local celebrities. Ideally, you’ll have your own vehicle that can safely fit three car seats—or be open to swapping cars with the parents during the day—for outings to the zoo, the Children’s Museum, or wherever the day’s adventure leads. Most mornings by 9 AM, this crew is out the door—rain or shine—ready to explore. With naps typically happening from 12–3, afternoons tend to be quieter—an ideal time to tackle the basics like kids’ laundry, tidying, washing bottles, packing swim bags, and helping the family prep for evening activities. During summer months, there may be the occasional weekday trip to their lake house in Conneaut — mileage and meals are fully covered. This family is well-organized and on-the-go — and you’ll fit in beautifully if you’re a playful, silly, steady presence who thrives in a fast-paced rhythm and genuinely loves watching little ones bloom. They’re not just hiring a nanny — they’re hoping to find their forever teammate.

Requirements and Benefits
