Weston is seeking a Project Engineer to support and execute engineering projects primarily based out of the West Chester, PA office, with a strong emphasis on fieldwork associated with environmental remediation and civil infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who enjoys a balanced mix of office-based design and hands-on field execution. The Project Engineer will support project delivery within their technical expertise while collaborating with internal teams and contractors to meet scope, schedule, and quality objectives, while upholding safety and risk management standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with approximately 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, or ability and willingness to obtain licensure within 1–2 years.
- Demonstrated experience supporting both fieldwork and office-based engineering tasks.
- Active NCEES record or ability to obtain additional state licenses through reciprocity is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to work both independently in the field and collaboratively within a team environment.
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance for DoD-related projects.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or willingness to obtain), OSHA 30-Hour Construction, and First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.
Expected Outcomes:
- Support and execute civil and environmental engineering projects, with a balanced focus on field implementation and office-based design.
- Perform site visits, field inspections, and construction oversight activities to support remediation and infrastructure projects.
- Lead or support field teams in environmental sampling, site investigations, and construction support activities.
- Assist with site civil design tasks including grading, erosion and sediment control, and general site development.
- Prepare and review construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Support permitting efforts and coordination with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality expectations.
- Assist with contractor coordination, shop drawing reviews, and submittal evaluations.
- Support development of scopes of work, proposals, and vendor coordination.
- Utilize engineering tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software to support project delivery.
- Travel to project sites as needed (approximately 30–50%), primarily within the regional area, while maintaining regular collaboration with the West Chester office team.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and safely navigate uneven terrain during field activities.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.
- Execute work in accordance with Weston’s safety, quality, and ethical standards.

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
Salary Range: $81,549 - $107,791 - $133,824
